What’s the history

of the Washago Art Club?

The art club started in early 2013. Founding Members were Jan Turner, Kathy Nicholson, Cheryl Lawder, Doug Cooper, and Jan McKnight.

What are the goals of our club?

Evolving around landscape classes offered by Doug Cooper at the Washago Community Centre, we have become a fixture of the community. We stage art shows at village functions and volunteer when needed. Our primary goal is to provide an comfortable meeting place where like-minded individuals can enjoy fine company while sharing their love of art and painting.
